Jack Hardy

Jack Hardy was born in Fresno, and grew up in Southern California. Jack met his wife Sheila at the age of 10 when her family began attending the church that Jack's parents pastored. Jack began playing the guitar at an early age and began performing with his mother when they traveled playing gospel music. Jack & Sheila married in 1972 and moved to Bakersfield shortly thereafter. Jack has appeared in many gospel concerts and on recordings over the years and recently portrayed Johnny Cash at the San Luis Obispo Little Theatre. Jack was a natural in sales and went to work for Three way Chevrolet in 1974 where he achieved the prestigious "Legion of Leaders" award his first years in automotive sales. Jack became one of the youngest people ever inducted into the Chevrolet Truck sales hall of fame. In 1978 Jack attracted the attention of Hopper Inc. the largest industrial supplier in Bakersfield who offered Jack a position as an outside salesman. Jack excelled at Hopper becoming the "Salesman of The Year" in 1983. In 1984 Jack was promoted to sales manager and in 1985 Jack became a division manager for Hopper Inc. Jack & Sheila relocated to the central coast in 1991 when Jack's division at Hopper Inc. was sold to an international company. In 1994 Jack left the industrial supply business and joined his wife Sheila at Century 21 Filer Realtors, Inc. as a Realtor. Jack immediately excelled in real estate listing and sales. Jack, Sheila and their daughter became "The Hardy Team" and became top producers. In 2002 Jack became a partner in Filer Realtors. In 2008 became the CEO for the expanded company currently known as Century 21 Hometown Realty. Hometown Realty in now ranked as one of the top 35 Century 21 companies in the nation. Jack's management and leadership has helped the company grow during a difficult period in real estate. Jack continues as CEO of the company while continuing his real estate sales and service career.
